Staying Afloat

I can never seem to keep up with email at work. I feel like I know how to prioritize, which gets the day to day suspense’s completed. However, I get around 50-75 emails on an average day. By the end of the week I’m usually 100 emails behind, and have another 100 or so that I need to file.

I’ve even tried to tell my team to take me off distribution for all routine emails. I’ve grouped emails by subject and skimmed over the latest message. I’ve tried to set aside an hour at the end of every day to clear the days email, but priorities don’t allow this to work. It seems no matter what I do, I can never keep up.
